The Laeks “MEGA CAR CARRIER” type from Transfesa
For international transport, Transfesa acquired 297 units of this modern car transporter wagon. These three-axle articulated wagons usually circulate between car factories in Spain and dealers in France, Germany and northern Europe (Denmark etc.). The upper deck is height adjustable for transporting vans, commercial vehicles or saloon cars and even passenger cars of the popular SUV type.
The new Electrotren model is characterized by its fine photo-etched details and the red character of modern Transfesa car carriers. Of course it has short coupler mechanisms and NEM 362 boxes.

The articulated platforms of the Lails type of TRANSFESA
These three-axis articulated platforms, with fixed end faces and sliding tarpaulins, formed the Transfesa “Lails” series, which initially had 48 units acquired in 1976, to which 20 new platforms were added in 1980, all of them suitable for changing axes on the border, which allowed international traffic throughout Europe. They were used to transport different large loads, such as Renault vehicle bodies sent to France from Spain.
The model reproduced by Electrotren uses the base of the “Laeks” platforms, as happened in reality with the Transfesa design, to which new end faces and the injected plastic canvas are added. Years ago, Electrotren produced this same model with a canvas made of fabric.
The current model has a short coupling mechanism to make the compositions more real as the wagons remain top to bottom.

The Uagpps hoppers for grain transport circulate through our country between the ports and silos on the border to the storage silos distributed to different parts of the country. The METRANSA company acquired several batches of curved-side hoppers in France for the transport of cereals in Spain, reaching a fleet of 150 wagons of this type.
Reference HE6048 reproduces one of these hoppers in its original condition with the dark gray color tone and the METRANSA period IV decoration.
