The flagship of the World Aquanaut Security Patrol (WASP), Stingray is a renowned combat submarine piloted by Captain Troy Tempest and his hydrophone operator Lieutenant George Lee Sheridan, also known as ‘Phones’.
The vessel was considered the most advanced submarine of the 2060s and was central to the WASP’s discovery of many advanced undersea civilisations, including the city of Titanica, ruled by the despotic King Titan and his warrior followers, the Aquaphibians.
Measuring 85ft (30m) long, Stingray’s nuclear reactor powers a Dual Drumman Hydrojets Ratemaster Turbine that gives the vessel a surface speed of 400 knots and a submerged speed of 600 knots. This raw power also enables the ship to breach the surface and ‘jump’ out of the water for a short distance, a useful way to evade enemies.
Stingray can safely submerge to a maximum depth of 40,000ft, comfortably above the deepest known point of the world’s oceans. A pair of landing skis can deploy from the underside of the hull to enable the submarine to safely land on the ocean floor.
The submarine is armed with a complement of sixteen Sting missiles and carries several other small vehicles onboard for maximum operational flexibility while deployed. Most noticeable of these are a pair of Aqua Sprites, small submersibles located on the exterior hull of Stingray to port and starboard.
The Aqua Sprites feature dry interiors for the pilot, detaching from the main hull and allowing for closer docking with other vessels underwater. In the event of an emergency underwater, the Aqua Sprites are also the primary means of evacuating Stingray.
If the crew leaves the vessel in underwater equipment, they invariably use handheld Sea Bugs to enable speedier propulsion and movement while underwater. Above the surface, compact single-seat hovercraft called Monocopters are available on board to provide much quicker and safer movement over the invariable rough terrain.

James Bond 007 - Q Glider - No Time To Die (CC03601)
< Click here for more details >
< Click here for less details >
Designed for air-launched infiltration missions, the distinctive two-seat folding wing glider developed by Q-Branch was used by Agent Nomi and James Bond to storm The Poisoned Garden, the island base of the villainous Safin.
Located in the Sea of Japan, the island required a rapid yet stealthy approach which only the glider was capable of achieving. Dropped from a Royal Air Force Boeing C-17A Globemaster in a compact form, the glider immediately springs open into a deployed flight configuration that, upon reaching surface level, transforms again into a submersible for the final arrival at Safin’s base.
While not a real aircraft, the Q Glider was created as a full-size physical prop with an opening canopy by the No Time To Die production team for use on set. The glider prop was used onboard a real Royal Air Force C-17A Globemaster at RAF Brize Norton and in a water tank set built at Pinewood Studios to create the interior submarine pen at The Poisoned Garden. Visuals of the glider deploying from the Globemaster were created using Computer Generated Imagery (CGI).

James Bond 007 - Aston Martin DBS "Quantum Of Solace" 1:36 (CC03805)

< Click here for less details >
Roaring into the opening moments of ‘Quantum of Solace’ and picking up immediately after the close of ‘Casino Royale’, the Aston Martin DBS returns under the control of James Bond as he finds himself under relentless pursuit by agents of the shadowy organisation Quantum.
Driving through the tunnelled road that runs alongside Lake Garda in Italy, the DBS sustains damage in dramatic fashion as 007 collides with a heavy goods vehicle while avoiding oncoming traffic, resulting in the driver’s door being ripped clean away.
The opening sequence of ‘Quantum of Solace’ was filmed on location in Italy over 16 days in the spring of 2008. The location of Lake Garda produced numerous challenges, not least because of the long and narrow tunnel that that car chase was filmed in.
With only two lanes available in the confined space, absolute precision was required by the stunt team.

The Great Escape - Triumph TR6 Trophy - Weathered (CC08501)
< Click here for more details >
< Click here for less details >
Based upon true events during the Second World War, ‘The Great Escape’ tells the incredible story of the inmates of the German Prisoner of War camp Stalag Luft III, a maximum-security prison built to contain captured Allied Air Force personnel who had consistently escaped other less secure facilities. Intent on escaping while simultaneously diverting critical German resources away from the frontlines, the POWs audaciously tunnel beneath the fences of the camp towards the forest beyond, and then flee for freedom.
Among the 76 POWs to make it out is Captain Virgil Hilts, otherwise known as ‘The Cooler King’, a frequent escapee who is consistently recaptured and placed in solitary confinement. During the escape, Hilts steals a German army motorcycle and heads for the German-Swiss border, with German soldiers in pursuit.
He uses the bike to jump one of the barbed wire fences at the border, but is intercepted by the soldiers before he can make his final escape. 73 of the 76 escapees are recaptured, with 50 of them executed on the personal orders of Adolf Hitler. Meanwhile, Hilts is returned to the cooler where he begins to plan another escape.
Among the most iconic motorcycles to ever grace the silver screen, the bike seen in The Great Escape is a modified Triumph Trophy TR6, chosen for its impressive performance and dressed to resemble a period German motorcycle. Production for the film took place on location in Germany, with the motorcycle chase sequences filmed in meadows around the town of Füssen in Bavaria. The famous moment when the motorcycle leaps the barbed wire border fences was performed by stuntman and professional off-road racer Bud Ekins.
After filming, the motorcycle was sold to a local farmer who used it to herd livestock, but it later languished in a barn for decades. It was rediscovered by Triumph collector Dick Shepherd, who painstakingly restored the unique bike to its 1962 filming specification with 95% of the original parts retained. In 2017, this legendary Triumph motorcycle was placed on display at the Triumph Factory Visitor Experience in Hinckley, UK.

In need of a helping hand from the friendliest half-giant to reside at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? Then Hagrid's motorcycle and sidecar is the mode of transportation you are most likely to see him arrive on. While typically unconventional, Hagrid often rode this enchanted flying vehicle which once belonged to Harry's godfather – Sirius Black. In the first instalment of the franchise, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Hagrid uses the motorcycle and sidecar to transport the infant Harry Potter to his new home of 4 Privet Drive, following the murder of his parents, Lily and James Potter at the hands of the vile Lord Voldemort. The enchanted bike makes a further appearance in the final instalment of the franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, when Harry, along with six others disguised as the underaged wizard (having drunk appearance changing Polyjuice potion) is transported by Hagrid to the Burrow. The troupe of magical folk transporting the 7 different Harry's need to ensure they use modes of transport not detectable to the wizarding community – Hagrid's motorcycle perfectly fits the bill.
